Our Background

THE COLLECTIVE - VOLUNTEER LAB

The Collective is an immersive annual 'gathering of sharing' for volunteers across Switzerland to honor the spirit of service, nurture inner growth, and strengthen the collective impact of giving.

Hosted once a year, either online or in Basel, the Lab brings together people from different walks of life who offer their time, skills, and presence to causes close to their hearts.

​

It is a space to for creative sharing and listening through storytelling, film, art, theatre, photography, music, presentations, writing, and dialogue. Alongside, the Lab also offers 'learning circles' where participants exchange experiences, explore new approaches to volunteering, and deepen their understanding of what it means to give with awareness and intention.

At its core, the Lab is about purpose—reminding us why we give, what connects us, and how our individual acts of service become part of a larger movement of change.
